Lumos Privacy Policy

1. How we collect and use personal information

1.1 Account registration and sign-in

To comply with applicable real-name registration requirements, you must provide a mobile number to register.

1.2 AI conversation services

We process content you submit while interacting with Lumos, including text, images and files, to complete your tasks, provide analysis and save materials and results according to your choices. We select context according to task needs and reduce unrelated data access and transmission.

1.3 Subscriptions and payments

When you subscribe to a paid service, we collect payment-order and transaction information to process orders and payments and provide customer support and after-sales service.

1.4 No model training

Lumos does not use the prompts you submit, documents you upload, model outputs, retrieved information, or business information, memory and results saved in Lumos to train or fine-tune models. We do not repurpose this content as training data after de-identification or for service improvement. We choose model services that do not use this content for training.

2. How we protect personal information

We take privacy and business data protection seriously. Our principle is to avoid unnecessary storage, collect only what is needed, and delete as early as possible. Without your permission, we do not disclose your personal information or business materials to third parties, except for processing entrusted to providers as necessary to deliver services under this policy, or as required by law.

We protect your information through customer data isolation, encryption in storage and in transit, permissions, access records and monitoring for unusual activity. Retrieval vectors are also treated as sensitive data and included in isolation, encryption and deletion controls. Audit records are limited to necessary action information. These measures reduce risk; they do not guarantee that exposure can never occur.

Temporary context, caches and runtime data are cleared according to task lifecycles; state retained for task continuation remains subject to access and lifecycle controls. Materials, memories and results you choose to save support subsequent work and are not deleted after each inference request. Legally required transaction and security records, and backups, are retained with restrictions and cleared according to necessary retention periods or lifecycles.

Authorized support and quality improvement

We access relevant data only within the scope you authorize, to address issues you report or improve service quality. Quality improvement does not include using this content for model training. You may change or withdraw authorization through available product features or by contacting us. Data use and provider processing needed for tasks you initiate follow Section 1 and the provider provisions in this section.

Model and cloud service providers

We use providers including DeepSeek, Tencent Cloud and Alibaba Cloud Model Studio for model, compute, storage or security services. Lumos supplies relevant context for each task, and model providers process the data needed to complete that inference request. A Zero Data Retention (ZDR) arrangement is available for highly sensitive work to constrain a provider’s retention of data from a single inference request. It is not enabled by default for every request. The provider, models, APIs, accounts, features, data scope and restrictions on human review must be confirmed before engagement. Processing required by law is excepted.

Public general policies may differ from specific agreements applicable to Lumos. These links do not establish that all provider products offer ZDR or prohibit human review by default. Specific arrangements follow the applicable service agreements and the scope confirmed before engagement. Provider inference ZDR does not cover materials, memory and results you choose to save in Lumos.

You may exercise the following rights through available product features or by contacting us:

  • Change or withdraw consent
  • Request access, a copy, correction, supplementation or deletion of personal information
  • Request account cancellation
