Lumos Terms of Service

Welcome to Lumos. Before using the service, please read and understand these Terms, together with other agreements, policies and guidance published on the platform. By accepting these Terms online or using the service, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree or cannot understand a provision, stop using the service.
1. Service
1.1 Lumos is an AI-based product that provides conversations, content generation and content analysis through a web platform.
1.2 As generative-AI technology, models, products and applicable laws evolve, we may add, upgrade, change, suspend or discontinue services and make necessary technical, performance or delivery adjustments.
2. Accounts and subscriptions
2.1 The service is primarily intended for adults. If you are under 18, review these Terms with a legal guardian and obtain their consent before using the service.
2.2 You may try Lumos through the options provided in the product. After registering an account, you can use the free trial benefits. Paid features and usage allowances follow the plan you purchase and the information shown on the relevant pages.
2.3 You are responsible for protecting your credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
3. Acceptable use
3.1 You must comply with applicable laws and information-content requirements. You may not submit, use service output to create, or distribute unlawful or harmful content, including content that endangers national security, discloses state secrets, promotes obscenity, gambling, violence, terrorism or crime, defames others, or infringes privacy or other lawful rights.
3.2 You may not reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract source code from the service.
4. Input and output
4.1 You are responsible for the inputs you submit and corresponding outputs, and represent that your inputs do not infringe intellectual property, likeness, reputation, privacy or other lawful rights.
4.2 Lumos does not use the prompts you submit, documents you upload, model outputs, retrieved information, or business information, memory and results saved in Lumos to train or fine-tune models. We do not repurpose this content as training data after de-identification or for service improvement. We access relevant data only within the scope you authorize, to address issues you report or improve service quality. Data use, provider processing and retention follow the Lumos Privacy Policy.
5. Output accuracy
5.1 AI models generate the service's outputs. Outputs are for reference only.
5.2 You are responsible for decisions and actions based on outputs and for their consequences.
6. Intellectual property
Lumos develops, operates and manages the service and retains applicable intellectual-property and other lawful rights in the service and related software, technology, programs, code, interfaces, text, images, audio, video, data and materials to the extent permitted by law.
7. Disclaimers
7.1 We aim to provide a safe, stable and continuous service, but provide it on an “as is” and “as available” basis and cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
7.2 Except where liability is expressly required by law, we are not liable for damage arising from use of the service.
8. Governing law and disputes
8.1 These Terms and related disputes are governed by the laws of mainland China.
8.2 The parties should first try to resolve disputes through consultation. If consultation fails, either party may bring proceedings before a court with jurisdiction where the Lumos operator is located.
9. Other terms
9.1 We may revise these Terms to improve the service or respond to changes in laws or policy. Published revisions replace the prior terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the service.
